Sail Snorkel and Swim
A short sail along Bermuda’s entire north coastline treats us to panoramic views of ancient forts, railway relics and ferry docks. Watch for turtles and fish as Longtail swallows fly and chirp overhead. In short time, Ana Luna brings us to a picturesque private cove ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Enjoy a guided snorkel tour and learn fish identification. Hoisting the mainsail again we return to Grotto Bay.
Our weekly schedule is
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 am to 3 pm.
$65 per person
For an additional 29.50 per person, take advantage of our catered “Ana-BBQ”, a gourmet barbecue served aboard Ana Luna featuring soup, kabobs, salads, and a surprise dessert prepared by Grotto Bay’s award winning chef. Beer, wine and soda are available aboard.
Sunset Cruise
Join us for a romantic evening aboard the Ana Luna. We sail just before sunset and cruise around the harbour for about 2 hours as you watch the stunning Bermuda Sunset. Bring your camera.
Our weekly schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays. Departure times vary seasonally according to the hour of sunset.

Bioluminescent Glow Worm Cruises
These cruises were very popular last season and we have extended them to include the sunset and a short cruise around the historic Grotto Bay area before dropping anchor to await the mating ritual of these curious marine creatures. We sail 45 minutes before sunset (time will vary throughout the season), and the glo-worms come out about one hour after sunset. We dock about 2 hours after sunset.
$45 per personThis is an amazing sex show (for lack of a better description). Female worms which float on the waters surface and drift with the tide turn an amazing sci-fi green color when they are ready to mate. This attracts the males from the depths themselves flaming in luminescent color and 'zap' they mate. It’s a uniquely amazing show happening all around the boat.
Available on the 2nd and 3rd days after the full moon June 28 & 29, July 27 & 28, Aug 26 & 27, Oct 25 & 26 (we will be away in Sept).
Overnight Live Aboard Charters
This is a great way to explore Bermuda's extensive marine environment. If you are interested in an overnight experience aboard Ana Luna please contact us and we will plan a custom charter for you.
Special Events In Bermuda
Ana Luna offers special full day charters for:
- Bermuda Day, May 24th
A full day cruise for only $95 per person. Cruise to Bermuda’s coming out summer event and the fitted dingy races. We fire up the BBQ for a pot luck meal & BYOB. On the cruise we generally leave Grotto Bay at 10 am, motor to the event via the Swing Bridge and sail back via Murray’s Anchorage getting you to dock at 6 pm.
- The July 4th, 2010
$95 per person. We leave Grotto Bay at 1 pm, sail, snorkel, swim, and party all afternoon with a pot luck meal and BYOB before viewing Tuckers Point fireworks from mid Grotto Bay. We dock at 9 to 9:30 pm.

SOLD OUT!
A full day cruise for $125 per person from Grotto bay for $95 per person from Dockyard. We sail from Grotto Bay at 10 am, or Dockyard at 12 noon. We pull anchor at 6 pm sharp getting you back to dockyard at 7 pm and Grotto Bay at 8:30.
Please note that hard liquor is strictly prohibited on this cruise to insure your safety. Safety issues caused by excess drinking and swimming are of huge concern to the captain at this event.
- Labor Day Sunday Sept 5th:
Celebrate the full day with us sailing to Castle Harbour for $95 per person. Say adios to summer and back to school with a day of snorkeling, amd swimming. We sail at high noon, returning at sunset.
Private Charters
Book a Half or Full Day private charter adventure on the Ana Luna.
- Half Day 4 hours:
$65 per person, minimum billing 10 guests ($650). Bring you friends, food, drinks and away we go! Snorkel gear, ice, setups are included. Smaller groups are encouraged to join our regularly scheduled cruises from Grotto Bay on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
- Full Day 8 hours: $95 per person, minimum billing 10 guests ($950). This is a great opportunity to relax, chill in Castle Harbour, and sail big distances.
Billing Details:
- Infants under 2 years of age are free. Kids 2 to 6 are 1/2 price, and must be supervised (and not fed full of sugar… in which case they are charged triple and we practice knot tying).
- Repositioning charge: Ana Luna sails from Grotto Bay Beach Resort, If you would like to sail to or from other locations there is a $75 / hr charge each way for repositioning the yacht.
- Large groups: Over 20 guests receive 20% discount
Gratuities:
We appreciate your gratuity. It lets us know we are doing everything we can to make your time aboard 'Ana Luna' as safe and special as possible.
A 15% gratuity will be added for all private charters.
A Special Note Regarding Drinking:
The Captain and crew are very concerned about the safety of our guests while aboard 'Ana Luna'. We do all we can to provide a platform for you to enjoy Bermudas Amazing Marine Environment. However, we reserve right to limit the amount of alcoholic beverages brought aboard to three per person for 1/2 day cruises, and six per person for full day cruises. Beverages in excess of the limits will be left at the dock.
About Music:
Ana Luna provides an excellent selection of international music for the enjoyment of our guests. Although we allow guest to bring music, we request that its volume be kept at reasonable level. Music that is disrespectful will not be permitted. Thank you for appreciating our quality control.
